CNY Pray @ Centipede Hill (蜈蚣山)

Went two templers to pray on the first day of Chinese New Year.

Vegetarian food was served at黄大仙 to all devotees

蜈蚣山 is on top of the hill. A very famous hill temple centipede, centipede visited the stunning statue of the Eight Immortals, and the Journey to the West figure

Because it's on top of hill. We're able to view Seremban town from here.

Met friends on the way here..

Mom felt tiring after climbing to the hill

On the way up to the hill. There are some traditional wooden houses down the hill. Heard from some residents here that this area always facing flood problems.

CNY's Eve Reunion Dinner

Every year of Chinese New Year's eve, we have never miss our family reunion dinner at home. Very simple and small family reunion dinner. Just the five of us. Ever since my second sister got married couple of years ago, and it makes our family reunion dinner even smaller. Only left me, my younger sister, brother and mom. I can't remember when was the last time we had family reunion dinner with dad on Chinese New Year's eve. Dad always busy with his things outside and work in oversea, etc. But we are already so used to it now.

We've bought a ready packed of lou sang from super market. This is the first year that we had lou sang at home. It was meaningful and fun to do lou sang together at home. I mixed everything and poured the syrup on it. The result? Mad sweet!!! I shouldn't have poured all the syrup. First time mah, too excited! Next year, i'll be the expert! Hehe..

Some people like to go out for their family reunion dinner and some prefer to stay at home such as me. Mom will cook many special dishes.

All food, especially fish will never fully consumed during this dinner, but is partly saved for the next day because the Chinese believe the word for fish sounds the same as the word for abundance (余)and by saving it for the New Year, it is believed that the new year will be filled with abundance (年年有余).

Baileys - Brilliant Drink

Me & Steven gave this Baileys to my aunt from Singapore... Because she said she miss her Baileys drinking session with her friends. So to make her happy, we got it for her.

I so mad in love with its combination of creme caramel + coffee! Especially being served over ice! I'm getting a 'lil thirsty now..

I can't drink, same goes to Steven. Both of us are very lousy drinker! I will for sure get red dots on my whole body after taking anything that contains alcohol. Very bad right? But surprisingly i can drink Baileys! Weird huh?

It was couple of years ago, i went to TGI Friday's with my ex. I ordered a Jack Daniel Steak. Believe it or not? I don't even know Jack Daniels is a hard liquor! :P

I was feeling super warm and hot from my body despite the aircon there was ok. My face became red as if i am wearing too much of blusher!

I noticed that i started to have those red huge dots all over my body. So ugly!! The worst part was i can't stop scatching it, it was mad itchy! My ex sent me to Sunway Medical Centre immediately and the doctor gave me some Calamine lotion to apply on those affected areas plus some antibiotic tablets. It took a week for me to completely cure! Gosh!

I've the Dalmatian's genes, but the polka dots on my body is kinda different.. It makes me look weird! Haha!!! Luckily my 'mom' sayang me.. Hehe!!

My V-Day Pressie

One nigt before Valentine's Day, my darling drove all the way from airport to my home town in Seremban to surprised me this 'lil pressie!

Making a Valentine's Day memorable isn't as hard as you think. The most importantly find out what your sweetheart really wants. As for me, i love surprises! Doesn't matter what is that, but the effort to plan for a surprise does matter!

It was about 9pm. He was flying back from work. As far as i know he got to rush back to Melacca for Chinese New Year reunion dinner. But he rather make me surprise before going home. :D So sweet! XOXO
