My Recipe: Tuna Potato

For 2 person portion:

Ingredients:
3 potatoes
5 tablespoon of tuna chunks or tuna flakes (choose preference of flavor)
1 onion (cut into small)
Salt to taste
Pepper (Optional)
Flour
1 egg
Bread crumbs

Methods:
1. Wash and peel off potatoes skin, drop the potatoes into a saucepan, and cover with water. Add some salt.

2. Bring it to boil, then simmer with the cover on for 15 minutes or until a fork slips right through them.

3. Drain potatoes and mash with a potato masher or either a heavy spoon to finish mashing the potatoes.

4. Add tuna, add salt or pepper (option) mash the tuna flakes if you are using it then mix together with the mash potatoes. If you are using chunk tuna just mix it all together with the mashed potatoes.

5. Form small round dough; stick some flour, egg and bread crumbs.

6. Heat oil on pan, medium heat.

7. Fry until the cake is yellow golden color. Ready to eat.

Tips: Use chili tuna if you prefer spicy. For kids: use original tuna / mayonnaise tuna.

Thai Chicken Curry

Last weekend, i went back to see mom.. Cooked Thai Chicken Curry for my family. I was using the yellow curry paste that i bought from Bangkok. I also bought Thai green curry paste. Will try it soon and share in my blog here... Stay tune! ;)

Not being exaggerate, mom and Joanne said very nice. Hehe!

Just in case, if you would like to try the recipe. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients:

1 packet of coconut cream/milk

1 packet of Mae Pranom Yellow Curry Paste

Oil

Meat (400 gms meat: 1 sachet paste)

Fish Sauce (Optional)

Sugar

Seasoning

Potato

Direction:

Put coconut cream in a heated pan and then add yellow curry paste. Stir-fry until oil appears on top. Add meat (beef, chicken, etc) and continue stir-fry until done. Fill the rest of the coconut milk, boil to cook and simmer until tender. Add fish sauce, sugar and seasoning as prefer. Put potato and boil to cook. Serve with rice.

P/S: You can follow your own preference to control the quantity of oil, sugar, seasoning, coconut milk, fish sauce and potato. As for healthy wise, you can replace coconut milk/cream to skimmed milk. But i would think coconut milk will make the curry's fragrant more nicer.

I bought the curry paste when i was holidaying in BKK couple months back. I heard we can get it in some supermarkets here. However, if you can't get the paste that i used. You still can try other brand for substitute. :)

♥ My Yummy Recipe ♥

I love cooking. No one will believe me. Well, it is ok. I know my outlook doesn't match.. Haha.. I am more like a shopaholic rather than a person who love to spend my time in kitchen, right? But you'll be surprised. I do cook, bake.. Everything la.. Hehe.. Nowadays i only have limited time to spend my own sweet time in my kitchen. My 9-6 and 5 days working office work only allow me to do my own thing during the weekend. Sometime i feel lazy to do so, because i need more rest.. Haha! So i cook less nowadays. Last weekend, i went back to see my mum and cooked dinner for them.
I managed to take two dishes only. Because they are my new recipe. :)
Here you go...
First Dish:
Braised Chicken With Coke
可乐鸡
Mum said too sweet, Joanne said ok.. Nice.. But too bad she's not so fancy on chicken, Steven has nothing to say.. He just ate only.. Haha! Personally, i think it was acceptable.. But sweet lor. I should skip sugar, because the coke itself contains high sugar.

Second Dish:
Gong Poe Crispy Mushroom
宫保脆菇

I swear, this is such mad yummy!!! By looking at it, no one will realize this is actually mushroom. I dipped the white oyster mushroom with flour and fried it.

Close up

Very crispy! Even after a while. So yummy! Not that i want to be a self praise myself. But really mad delicious and taste good! :D
