Congrats Jonathan! You're Finally Graduated!

Today is one of my happiest day in life! This is an indescribable feeling!! My most love dearly brother – Jonathan Mok has finally graduated! Jonathan, we are very proud of you! You’ve done very well! This is the moment mom and dad are waiting for so long! (I think mom’s neck is getting longer and longer, and now she can finally release and free herself like a bird flying freely on sky.. lol)

Graduation Day is the climax of a dream.
A parental dream that began when a child is born,
And their hope come true it would seem,
A triumph held after periods of forlorn,
A feeling of pride and euphoria years away For a daughter or son - Graduation Day.
It is a peak of success for the graduate,
Not only for the graduate but parents too.
A joyful event after many years they had to wait,
Realizing the glorious thrill of a dream come true,
A genuine smile accompanied by a deep sigh,
Often a handkerchief in hand as the class goes by.
Graduation is a deserving, hard earned goal
With mortarboard and gown as foretold,
A gratifying service of the mind and soul
In a simple and beautiful sheepskin told
That the graduate fulfilled the educational rule.
At last, for the mother and father, a dream come true.

iPhone4

I am having iphone fever! I would think of iphone4 during the day and night.. Even in my dream.. Do I sound like inception? Lol.. My friend said she got an iphone4 from her hubby.. She is so lucky and lovely.. Even it is sold at very expensive price, but for people who can afford and really an iphone freak, who care? Right? I mean why think too much if you really love the thing and yet you have the money and don’t know where to spend.. Haha! So just get it! If I were having enough money, I would’ve fly to Singapore and get it when it is first launched recently, despite those unfixed problems. How I wish someone could present me the new iphone, but when I realize that asking people to give you something is just like forcing them. This is not my practice. So I rather not to depend on anyone! I am capable enough to be independent and I earn my own wages and spend it wisely and happily! People says buy thing with your own money is more satisfaction and meaningful.. I think it makes sense! :D

Sick!!!

Been sick for a week! Cough, sore throat, flu!!! Argh!! Went to see doctor and had all the yucky medicines.. Finally I am recovering.. Hope everyone is healthy and take care ya!

Village Park Restaurant, Damansara Uptown

This wasn’t my first time visit Village Park in Damansara Uptown. I used to come here for lunch when I worked somewhere nearby this area few years ago. Village Park Restaurant is located in Damansara Uptown.

Last Sunday, mom was here to accompany me and Joanne. We took her to Village Park.
For the first timer, my advice is to be patient if you wanna eat in this restaurant. Due to their popularity, it would be very crowded all the time. We reached Village Park around 10am on Sunday, the queue was shockingly long, and all seats were occupied although they set up tables over a span of few shops including the parking space in front. We were lucky to grab a table among the jostling crowd. Despite the busyness, the service here was quite friendly.

From Nasi Lemak Biasa, Nasi Lemak Redang, Nasi Lemak Sotong to Nasi Lemak Daging. Beside that, they offer various dishes as additional add-ons like ayam goreng rempah, sambal udang, sambal petai and rendang. I noticed that all their Ayam Goreng are drumstick!

So, we finally got our Nasi Lemak…

Nasi Lemak at Village Park Restaurant is not cheap, with sambal, fresh cucumber, anchovies, peanuts, hard boiled egg, fragrant coconut milk rice and a fried chicken (tight/drumstick) RM7. However, their fried chicken was fresh and crispy!

Ice Milo Dinasaur

The most 'kao' Milo that i ever had before!!! Very nice! Does it look like sands on top? lol

Personally, i think Village Park's Nasi Lemak was OK. Very little rice they provided, but the fried chicken was the BEST! If you pay attention, you might notice some pictures on the restaurant's wall featured some famous celebrities and people who have eaten at Village Park before. One of them is my hero.. aka Tun Dr. Mahathir!

Very important message to photographers: Village Park Restaurant doesn't allow any photographs within the restaurant. A big sticker is stated in front of the main entrance of the restaurant. As a person who like to blog, i can't bother about the warning.. :P I quickly snapped few pictures without their knowing. :D
