Sunday Outing

This weekend i did not go back to see mom. What to do? Of cause go out and shopping la! Hehe!! Saturday we went to 1 Utama and Sunday KL. The first thing we do was go to Nikon Centre in Time Square.
The Nikon Centre, Berjaya Time Square, Kuala Lumpur is the largest photography centre in Southeast Asia! It is also a one-stop venue for Nikon camera enthusiasts and photographers of all levels to experience, practise, learn, find inspiration or share the tools of photography and witness the works of local and international image takers and makers. Its first grand opening was on 8th Jan 2010.
Why Malaysia, you might ask? According to the statistic provided by Nikon, from April to December 2009, Nikon sales in Malaysia grew by 40%!

The Centre has a showroom that displays the full range of COOLPIX, DSLR, NIKKOR lenses, speed light flashes and other lenses accessories. There is also a showcase displaying some of the legendary models of Nikon. In addition, it has a service and repair department, a modest gallery space for exhibitions and a seminar room for workshops and talks by renowned photographers around the region. This means anyone who is interested in photography, from amateurs to professionals, is given the opportunity to discuss the latest products, exhibitions and photography-related issues.

Whether you are a camera enthusiast or not, you should definitely drop by the Nikon Centre. It is notmjust another store selling camera, but a centre designed to enable the public to learn about photography and enjoy the Nikon experience. Expect to feast your eyes on the full range of DSLR, NIKKOR and COOLPIX Lens and other speed light lenses. There is even a display on the legendary vintage Nikon DSLR from 1948! Cameras at the Nikon Centre are not just for display purposes, either. You can cop a free on how each of the products work, without a salesperson pestering you to buy the product! ;)

After that we were wandering around there. I tried to look for a few pair of shoes for CNY and work. I haven’t been to Time Square for nearly 2 years! Wow!! That is long! The last time I been here was attended KLPF (Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival). To me, Time Square doesn’t changed much, still maintain as last time, the only thing is it is more like a second Sungai Wang now. :D Good for those who like to buy cheap and bargain stuffs! I do not have high expectation of finding shoes here, as I am quite particular on choosing a pair of shoe or clothes. We went to lower ground to take picture, Time square has Shanghai Town’s theme for this year CNY.

The Old Shanghai's performance

When we passed by the concourse, we noticed there were many people are queuing for free balloon. This was organized for a famous Chinese game. I don't know their English name. Perhaps you can see those pictures, you might probably recognize it. We wanted to have the balloon, because it is so adorable, but then the Q was super long! I don’t want to waste my time simply queuing just for the balloon.

Cute and sexy young models.

This is the balloon!! The model was too shy, insted she covered with the giant balloon! Haha!!

The exhibition

We then went for early dinner at Papa John because Steven started mumbling that his stomach is making sound! Haha!!

All kinda pizzas

Steven tried to act cool.. Hehe!! Ok la.. You're the coolest! LOL

The garlic sauce

Nothing to do while waiting for our food so take picture.. Nice sandal? I bought it in HK. :)

My fav Breadstick! So yummy to eat it alone or dip with the garlic sauce or tomato puree! I love it!!
We’ve ordered simple and light pizza, because we planned to go for dinner again later. So we decided to go with Papa Hawaiian set, it comes together with 2 drinks and bread stick.
Yummy Hawaiian Pizza

Before living Time Square, i took this picture with their mascot! He is cute isn't it? ;)
After the meal in Papa John, we walked across to Sungai Wang. Hoping able to find something nice. At last, I managed to get a tee at RM10!! Haha! So cheap and yet so nice! I also got few nice baby shirts for my 2 nephews! :D I can’t wait to see them next week!! Sungai Wang is a mall that you can actually find everything here! Here I found a kiosk that selling those sticker and craft making stuffs! I bought a few stickers because I plan to do some cards and scrapbook. Will show you guys once I have done ya! ;)
As for dinner, we went to PJ for Hokkien Noodle. Steven always wanted to try, as this Hokkien Noodle is quite famous in Klang Valley. I did posted a blog about this a month ago. That was why i did not take any picture of it. http://isee-ihear-ifeel.blogspot.com/2009/12/hokkien-noodle-restaurant-ahwa-jln-223.html
