In Nyonya Colors, you will get to buy and eat premium homemade quality Nyonya Kueh and delights. You may have seen similar kueh in other Nyonya stall. But Nyonya Colors provide customers with the high quality and tasty kueh. A piece of small kueh is not cheap though.

Beside their homemade authentic Nyonya kueh, here you can also order main dishes such as Asam Laksa, Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Mee Rebus, Rojak, etc.

I have ordered Asam Laksa - RM8.90. Tasted so-so only.

Falling in ♥

When you think of your past love,
You may view it as a failure.
But when you find a new love,
You view the past as a teacher.
In a game of love,
It doesn't really matter who won or who lost. What is important is you know,
When to hold on and when to let go!

You know you really love someone,
When you want him or her to be happy.
Even if his or her happiness means that you are not part of it,
Everything happens for a best.
If a person you love doesn't love you back,
Don't be afraid to love someone else again.
For you will never know unless you give it a try,
You will never love a person you love unless you risk for love.
Love strikes in hurting,
If you don't get hurt,
You don't learn how to love.
Love doesn't hurt all the time,Though the hurting is still there to test you,
To help you grow.
Don't find love,
Let love find you. That is why it is called falling in love,
Because you don't force yourself to fall... you just fall.
You cannot finish a book,
Without closing its chapters.
If you want to go on,
Then you have to leave the past as you turn the pages.
Love is not destroyed by a single failure,
Or won by a single caress.
It is a lifetime venture,
In which we are always learning, discovering and growing.

The greatest irony of love is letting it go when you need to hold on,
And holding on when you need to let go.We lose someone we love only when we are destined to find someone else,
Who can love us even more than we can love ourselves.
On falling out of love,
Take some time to heal and then get back on the horse.
But don't ever make the same mistake,
Of riding the same one that threw you the first time.
To love is to risk rejection,
To live is to risk dying,
To hope is to risk failure,
But risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is risking nothing!
To reach for another is to risk involvement,
To expose your feelings is to expose true self.
To love is to risk not to be loved in return!

How to define love?
Fall but not stumble,
Be constant but not too persistent,
Share and never be unfair,
Understand and try not to demand,
Hurt but never keep the pain.
Love is like a knife,
It can stab the heart or it can carve wonderful images into the soul that always last for a lifetime.Love is supposed to be the most wonderful feeling,
It should inspire you and give you joy and strength.
But sometimes the things that give you joy can also hurt you in the end,Loving people means giving them the freedom that they choose to be and where they choose to be.
Loving someone means giving him or her a freedom to find his or her way,
Whether it lead towards you or away from you.

Love is a painful risk to take but the risk must be taken,
No matter how scary or painful.
For only then you will experience the fullness of humanity,
You truly experience love.
Only love can hurt your heart,
Fill you with desire and tear you apart.
Only love can make you cry,
And only love knows why.
If you are not ready to cry,
If you are not ready to take a risk,
If you are not ready to feel a pain,
Then you are not ready to fall in love.
There was a time in our lives,
When we became afraid to fall in love.
Because every time we do we get hurt,
Then I figured that is why it is called falling in love.

Whatever happened,
Don't give up!
It is just a trial,
Have faith in yourself and cheer up!
When you decide to love,
Allow it to grow.
When you promise to love,
Refuse it to die!

Latte, Any One?

I feel sick if i drink coffee, especially Nescafe. However, you will be surprised if you see me go in to Starbucks and order a cuppa of Frapuccino Caramel then enjoy so much with the Frapuccino. Yes, you might think.. Hmm, this lady only go for branded coffee! It's fine.. I feel myself weird too. NO sick, NO headahce.. Everytime after i had Frappuccino Caramel from Starbucks. Oh, ya! Beside Nescafe and other normal coffee, i also don't drink coffee from Coffee Bean. It makes my body too heaty too. See... So don't say i am just go for branded coffee only huh! lol

Grafitti Latte or Latte Art is the technique of pouring steamed milk into espresso, thereby creating beautiful patterns and designs on the surface of the latte. Latte art is genuinely difficult as it involves both the espresso shot and milk. It can also be created by embellishing simple drawings on the top of the foam. The quality of the espresso machine, the experience of barista and the work of latte artist contribute as a whole to generate this unique latte art.

This is Grafitti Late, RM10 from Pick & Brew. I took a sip after got a permission from my colleague as he has ordered it. It was rich, creamy, and my colleague seemed very satisfying!

Congrats Jonathan! You're Finally Graduated!

Today is one of my happiest day in life! This is an indescribable feeling!! My most love dearly brother – Jonathan Mok has finally graduated! Jonathan, we are very proud of you! You’ve done very well! This is the moment mom and dad are waiting for so long! (I think mom’s neck is getting longer and longer, and now she can finally release and free herself like a bird flying freely on sky.. lol)

Graduation Day is the climax of a dream.
A parental dream that began when a child is born,
And their hope come true it would seem,
A triumph held after periods of forlorn,
A feeling of pride and euphoria years away For a daughter or son - Graduation Day.
It is a peak of success for the graduate,
Not only for the graduate but parents too.
A joyful event after many years they had to wait,
Realizing the glorious thrill of a dream come true,
A genuine smile accompanied by a deep sigh,
Often a handkerchief in hand as the class goes by.
Graduation is a deserving, hard earned goal
With mortarboard and gown as foretold,
A gratifying service of the mind and soul
In a simple and beautiful sheepskin told
That the graduate fulfilled the educational rule.
At last, for the mother and father, a dream come true.

iPhone4

I am having iphone fever! I would think of iphone4 during the day and night.. Even in my dream.. Do I sound like inception? Lol.. My friend said she got an iphone4 from her hubby.. She is so lucky and lovely.. Even it is sold at very expensive price, but for people who can afford and really an iphone freak, who care? Right? I mean why think too much if you really love the thing and yet you have the money and don’t know where to spend.. Haha! So just get it! If I were having enough money, I would’ve fly to Singapore and get it when it is first launched recently, despite those unfixed problems. How I wish someone could present me the new iphone, but when I realize that asking people to give you something is just like forcing them. This is not my practice. So I rather not to depend on anyone! I am capable enough to be independent and I earn my own wages and spend it wisely and happily! People says buy thing with your own money is more satisfaction and meaningful.. I think it makes sense! :D

Sick!!!

Been sick for a week! Cough, sore throat, flu!!! Argh!! Went to see doctor and had all the yucky medicines.. Finally I am recovering.. Hope everyone is healthy and take care ya!

Village Park Restaurant, Damansara Uptown

This wasn’t my first time visit Village Park in Damansara Uptown. I used to come here for lunch when I worked somewhere nearby this area few years ago. Village Park Restaurant is located in Damansara Uptown.

Last Sunday, mom was here to accompany me and Joanne. We took her to Village Park.
For the first timer, my advice is to be patient if you wanna eat in this restaurant. Due to their popularity, it would be very crowded all the time. We reached Village Park around 10am on Sunday, the queue was shockingly long, and all seats were occupied although they set up tables over a span of few shops including the parking space in front. We were lucky to grab a table among the jostling crowd. Despite the busyness, the service here was quite friendly.

From Nasi Lemak Biasa, Nasi Lemak Redang, Nasi Lemak Sotong to Nasi Lemak Daging. Beside that, they offer various dishes as additional add-ons like ayam goreng rempah, sambal udang, sambal petai and rendang. I noticed that all their Ayam Goreng are drumstick!

So, we finally got our Nasi Lemak…

Nasi Lemak at Village Park Restaurant is not cheap, with sambal, fresh cucumber, anchovies, peanuts, hard boiled egg, fragrant coconut milk rice and a fried chicken (tight/drumstick) RM7. However, their fried chicken was fresh and crispy!

Ice Milo Dinasaur

The most 'kao' Milo that i ever had before!!! Very nice! Does it look like sands on top? lol

Personally, i think Village Park's Nasi Lemak was OK. Very little rice they provided, but the fried chicken was the BEST! If you pay attention, you might notice some pictures on the restaurant's wall featured some famous celebrities and people who have eaten at Village Park before. One of them is my hero.. aka Tun Dr. Mahathir!

Very important message to photographers: Village Park Restaurant doesn't allow any photographs within the restaurant. A big sticker is stated in front of the main entrance of the restaurant. As a person who like to blog, i can't bother about the warning.. :P I quickly snapped few pictures without their knowing. :D
