I was in Mid Valley shopping with Steven yesterday. We decided to go to Italiannies Restaurant for lunch.. Oops! Sorry it was a brunch for Steven.. Haha! We tried their new promotion - 2 course meal at RM27.90.
Italiannies outlet in Mid Valley The Gardens has a rather cozy and elegant interior design. With the warm lighting and magnificent view over the city, it does enhance the romance ambiance of this cozy and romantic little restaurant. I personally think sitting next to the glass window is the ideal especially during the night as you can see the view of KL city with the light from KL Tower and KLCC! Italiannies is situated next to the escalator beside Robinson and behind of Austin Chase. It is just like clandestine gems hidden at the first floor of The Gardens.
I love Italian cuisine because they always serve you delicious bread with my favorite olive (because it's so healthy and less calorie) and balsamic vinegar combination! While waiting we has a serving Tuscan bread. It was so fresh from the oven! I had only one and Steven finished the whole thing and yet he felt like eating more.. Haha! No doubt he is a bread lover! :P
For this 2 course meal, 1 appetizer and 1 main course. Customer have to choose set meal either Classic or Novelty.

I have chosen Classic and ordered toasted Bruschetta for my appetizer.
Homemade Tuscan bread topped with marinated tomatoes, Pesto sauce and Parmesan cheese. As for Steven, he chosen Novelty and wanted to order Pizza Caprese for his appetizer. Unfortunately, the waiter told us it has sold out. So he has ordered Italian Clams Soup instead. It tasted not bad thou.. :)
A hearty soup with fresh clams and diced tomatoes. For main course i have ordered Penne Bolognese.
Beef meat sauce served over penne pasta Steven loves mussel very much! Eventually Spaghetti Mussel was his top choice! :P
Spaghetti tossed with fresh mussels in light tomatoes sauce. I would not recommend this to those who doesn't like herbs, as the herbs tasted very strong in this dish.
