This is my second time dining in Purple Cane Tea Restaurant in The Gardens, Mid Valley. You may recognize the brand, since Purple Cane specializes in Chinese teas in most of the shopping malls. The special thing about this restaurant is they use Chinese tea/leaves as part of their cooking ingredient. Joanne is suggested to take mom to go to this restaurant again for lunch on last Saturday.
Here they served green tea rice which is slightly brown in colour as the rice is cooked in brewed tea. Bits of tea leaves aew also found within the rice grains. No taste of any tea involved except for the colour.
